Personally, I like Colonel Mael Radec, the guy has a fancy ass uniform badass.. A tactical genious, yet he commited suicide without giving the pleasure to the enemy to kill him or to hold him as prisoner. The guy is fucking awesome.

my favourite soldiers would be the HAZMAT troopers from killzone 3 and their successor the armadillo trooper from shadow fall, and my favourite Helghast member would be general metric from liberation, colonel kratek from mercenary and Scolar Visari in general

I love Elite Shock Troopers. Mostly because of their armor look, mobility and of course, they were 'mercenaries' in Killzone: Mercenary.

1. The Elites from Killzone 1: Just fell in love with these baldies when I was a kid on KZ1.
2. The Squad Leader midgets from 1: cmon, midgets leading entire platoons of these guys is hilarious lol. PS, I have a theory that these guys are ex-miners as it seems like of the soldiers from 2, the miner guys are the shortest.
3. Officers/regular shock troopers (especially from 2 and Mercenary): loved the look of these guys with their caps and in 2/Mercenary their fuzzy hair lol.
4. The Commandos from 2-Shadow Fall: badass guys with their multiple eyes lol and man did these guys have me running in 2 lol.
5. the Elite Shockers from 2: for years, I had always thought they were females lol. I know you guys deconfirmed them as females but man did they throw me off lol
Honorable mentions:
the Miners: Thought it was kinda cool that these guys weren't officially members of the army, but were as tencaious if not more than their regular army counterparts in 2 plus them being the shortest members lol
The Assault dudes from 1: Boba Fett lookalikes. That is all...
Base Commanders from 1: Hakha lookalikes. That is all....
the Snipers-imho among the most iconic of the Helghast army, especially from 2 onwards.
the Heavies: Will never forget my jaw dropping when I first saw these dudes in 2.
Favorite generals:
1. Radec-cmon, he's the poster villain thats not Visari lol.
2. Saric-if they do make a game after SF, Saric has the potential to become a next-gen Radec imho. Wish he did more in SF.
3. Cobar-the ultimate pyschopath. Too bad he didn't get to do much in Liberation
4. Lente-I feel like he's kinda forgotten among his fellow generals. I loved his banter with Adams and Hakha in 1.
5. Stahl-the crazy and untypical Helghast weapons maker. The f bombs and constant berating of the Helghast military by him are unforgettable lines from 3.

100% the Assault Infantry from Killzone 1-2. Those guys are the face of the Helghast, they are the backbone of the army, and Guerrilla Games chose to make them the weakest enemies. ('Tis a shame).
If only the Assault Infantry were more like an elite special forces army......
