Private and later Corporal Bilinghurst is an ISA soldier who appears in Killzone and Killzone 2.
Killzone[]
Private Bilinghurst first appears in "Vekta Evacuates" where he helps guide Jan Templar through the burning offices briefly. Afterwards, he stayed behind to "secure" the area. He later reappears in "Misty Waters" where he held Templar and his team at gunpoint, and accusing them of being traitors to the ISA as he and along with other ISA soldiers were lied to by General Stuart Adams of Bradley Vaughton and his allies attempting to take control of the SD Platform. Bilinghurst was then quickly subdued by Luger and revealed to Templar of Vaughton's death. He is then released and Luger told him to return to his squad.
Killzone 2[]
Billinghurst was eventually promoted to Corporal and participated in Operation Archangel. He was on board the New Sun while it is being attacked by Helghast Leech Pods. Tomas Sevchenko becomes trapped with Billinghurst in a security airlock, which leads to the cruiser's AA-guns. Because the security camera system on the New Sun is down, the frightened crew refuses to let anyone pass through the airlock without matching their identity against the cruiser's personnel database. After Billinghurst provides his name, rank and serial number, the crew promptly opens the doors so that Sev can proceed to the AA-guns. It's unknown if Billinghurst made it off the cruiser prior to its destruction.
Trivia[]
- Billinghurst is named after long-time Guerrilla Games staffer and designer Stuart Billinghurst.
