Located somewhere within Containment City, New Helghan Prison is a black-site facility whose existence continues to be officially denied by Helghast authorities. An exact location is difficult to ascertain as containers comprising the prison structure are frequently shifting. It is highly likely that Black Hand operatives oversee the processing and detention of inmates. Little is known of the facility as there is no record of anyone having ever escaped. The discovery of similar classified locations uncovered evidence of extreme torture and abuse. Second most common cause of death among inmates was suicide.
