Pyrrhus Deep was founded in 2212 by the remnants of the Helghan Corporation seeking refuge from UCN forces. It quickly established itself as a stable settlement and within 20 years the region known as Central Pyrrhus was built. Petrusite exportation funded the city's expansion from this central hub and stimulated further industrial and military growth. Pyrrhus Deep is now Helghan's largest city and home to many leading interplanetary corporations including Stahl Arms and Petrusite.

In 2344, Autarch Visari chose the city as his principal workplace and construction began on his residence known as Corinth Palace. With its strategic position overlooking the city, the fortified complex holds regular state functions for national leaders and visiting foreign dignitaries.
