Helghast Guard Dogs are a breed of canines that are used by the Helghan Empire.

They were deployed on the battlefield under the orders of General Metrac after it became clear that Sentry bots were becoming unreliable due to mechanical failures. Though unarmed, the Guard Dogs are deadly due to their use of their razor sharp teeth which have been mechanically enhanced.
The Guard Dogs excel in detecting and seeking out enemy stealth units. Due to the fact that they originate from Helghan, the Guard Dogs require the same visual enhancements as their masters in order to function in environments such as Vekta.
