Transcript: The virus is designed to be gene specific. It was initially engineered to only target the Helghan genome. However, our doctors with the help of Massar, have been able to adapt the coding to redesign it so it now attacked only Vektans. This has created somewhat of a debate among my colleagues. It seems our genomes are not as different as many Helghans would like to believe. Genetically, we are nearly identical to the Vektans, even now. After decades of change it seems we still have much in common.
