Private Richards was an ISA marine who participated in Operation Archangel.
Biography[]
Richards and several ISA marine survived the attack on Battle Group Mandrake. After the New Sun crashed, Richards scouted the wreckage of the cruiser and came upon an intact LS209 Exoskeleton. He soon encountered Alpha Squad and was nearly shot by Rico who mistook him for a Helghast. The Exoskeleton was accidentally activated by Natko and Richards planned to take it back to his fireteam. However, Rico takes the Exoskeleton and instructed Sev to commandeer it.
After Richards brought Alpha Squad to his outpost, he told Rico that their commanders, including Colonel Jan Templar, "screwed" the entire operation. Richards continued belittling Templar's name, claiming that he "offed himself". This insult to his friend infuriated Rico to violently headbutt Richards before proceeding to stomping him on the chest. Natko quickly stopped Rico from making further harm to Richards, who was left on the ground and reeling from his injuries.
