Salamun District is the fourth level of Killzone 2.

Plot

Advancing from Visari Square, Captain Narville's convoy, Avenger Convoy, prepare to cross the Corinth River via the main bridge to Scolar Visari's palace. However, Helghast forces under Colonel Mael Radec destroys the bridge via mortar fire, thereby blocking the convoy's passage. Sev becomes separated from Alpha Squad in which he jumps off the bridge before it was destroyed. He is forced to take a detour through the sewers in order to find his way back to his squad.

Sev soon rejoins with Garza and while en route to the convoy, they receive word from Rico that the convoy are under attack from heavy mortar fire. Rico assigns Sev and Garza to locate and destroy the mortars. Furthermore, Rico informs them that another ISA squad, the 23rd M.A.T., is in the nearby Shanties and search for survivors. However, Sev and Garza soon discovers the members of the 23rd M.A.T. has been annihilated. They are then ambushed by Helghast and fought them off before rejoining the convoy.

After being reunited with the convoy, Sev and Garza quickly learn the convoy is stalled again by anti-tank weaponry on a rooftop of a power station. Sev and Garza fight their way to the power station, but only to find that there is no access to roof. Instead, they decide to blow up the entire building.
