Private Sanchez was a ISA soldier who served in the Rapid Reaction Force during the Helghast's invasion of Vekta.
Killzone[]
During the opening stages of the Helghast assault on Vekta he ran through a hail of Helghast machine gun and artillery fire to Jan Templar's position whom at the time was having problems with a radio linked to the ISA's fortress on the other side of Vekta City. Templar admonished Sanchez's actions to be reckless. Sanchez replied only with a brief introduction before being cut off by the detonation of a minefield that was being probed by Helghast regulars and a Helghast Hover APC.
After the Helghast unit was taken out, he, Templar and a few other RRF troops fell back to another position and held it until the remaining RRF in the area had fallen back. The Helghast proceeded to overrun their position and were eventually stopped after their armored support was halted by the remaining mines.
An RRF trooper resembling Sanchez (albeit having a different voice) later dies from severe injuries after his squad is attacked in the Slums of Vektan Slums. Before he dies, Templar attempted to inject him with a medical syringe but Luger stops him and collects the information on where the spy was being taken. The young man dies just prior to alerting them that the spy is half-Helghast.
Sanchez's ultimate fate remains unknown.

Helghast Assault[]
Templar: "These comms are getting worse. Anyone else receiving? We're gettin' cut off here."
(ISA soldier gets killed)
Templar: "Shit!"
ISA soldier: "What do we do sir?!"
Templar: "We have to get back to the main line."
(Private Sanchez enters the trench)
Templar: "Jesus! You trying to get yourself killed? Who are you?"
Sanchez: "Private Sanchez, sir. Don't worry about those Helghast, sir: they're walking right into one of our minefields! Hehe, dead in their tracks!"
Templar: "How long will the minefield hold them?"
Sanchez: "Not much longer sir - they've been trying to find a way through all day."
Templar: "You know this area, Sanchez?"
Sanchez: "Yessir! I've been covering the Helghast here since the whole thing began. But I've lost comms with the Forward Post on The Ridgeback."
Templar: "Ok. Sanchez; you take point. We gotta stop the Helghast breaking through our lines. And get us out of this alive."
Sanchez: "Yessir!"
