I think it should also be mentioned that circa Killzone: Shadow Fall, the technology afforded to shadow marshals is astounding. A wonderful example: During the outerspace missions, Lucas Kellan never dons a formal space suit, but rather simply wears his combat uniform (which exposes a few portions of his skin); that would imply that there is some serious science going on there, especially at the end of the 3rd mission where Lucas is in outerspace and survives being merely miles away from the sun.
