The Package is the fifth mission in Killzone: Mercenary.

Plot

After escaping the Embassy, Danner is tasked by Benoit to secure Mandor Savic, who had fled to an old smoker tower, where the Helghast mined raw Petrusite. Danner and Justus make their way through the cliffside occupied by Helghast Police Troopers before finding Savic.

The scientist reveals to Danner that he had created a weaponized virus based on a viral agent Kratek had stolen from the ISA. Savic had originally believed the bio-weapon was designed for self-defense, but learned that Kratek intends to use it to wipe out the Vektans due to the virus genetically made to target its victims. Appalled, Savic chose to defect after rendering the virus inert by stealing a plasmid trigger required to activate it.

Danner engages Helghast forces which provides enough time for Justus and Savic to safely make their way to the extraction point where they are rescued by Admiral Grey herself.
