The Trooper Carrier is an autonomous quadrupedal vehicle used by the Helghast Army.

Specifications

The Trooper Carrier is a transport vehicle for delivering Helghast troops to the frontlines. It's employed in situations and terrains where using a standard Helghast APC is impractical. The Trooper Carrier is also an AI sentry. After delivering the troops to an area, it can be set to guard the area as well.

The Trooper Carrier armed with a single flamethrower mounted underneath its sensory head, along with a light mortar cannon that is mounted on its back. It fires its mortar cannon when attacking a target far away, and when the target is close to it, it will use its flamethrower.

Killzone 3

Trooper Carriers are first encountered in "Evacuation Orders". In a few areas, players are tasked with destroying these vehicles.

A direct hit from the cannon can be lethal on Trooper difficulty. It can engage in melee combat, as it is seen in the gameplay fighting an Exo unit. Trooper Carriers are moderately armored against small arms fire, and can withstand about 89 rounds from the StA52 Assault Rifle before being destroyed. It takes two direct hits from a VC9 Rocket Launcher to destroy it on Trooper difficulty.
