Valeria Harkin formerly known as Valeria Tobek was the mother of Justus Harkin, and the wife of ISA Ambassador Sepp Harkin.
Biography[]
Valeria was born in 2315 to the prominent Tobek family. She graduated from Pyrrhus Academy in 2336 and pursued a career in administration. She received a promotion at some point to 3rd Assistant Controller, Ministry of Public Works. She was once reprimanded for criticism of promotion opportunities for women.[1]
Valeria met Sepp Harkin at a society event on 2346, and began a secret relationship with him. They went public on 2348, and married, much to the shock and disapproval from her family and the Helghast public. On 2349, she gave birth to her son Justus.[1]
After the outbreak of the Second Extrasolar War, Valeria and her family were confined in the Vektan Embassy. By the time of Operation Archangel, the embassy was besieged by Helghast forces under Vyktor Kratek. Though Admiral Alex Grey dispatched the mercenary Arran Danner to rescue the Harkins, Valeria and her husband were killed.
