What remains of the [[ISA Alpha Centauri|ISA]] forces advances to the Lazar Highway, where they are quickly forced to bypass the main road due to both enemy resistance and a part of the road missing. Fighting through [[Helghast]] resistance, [[Alpha Squad]] is tasked with taking out the Arc Batteries defending [[Visari Palace]]. After doing so, the ISA destroy the Petrusite battery, enabling more forces to land. In the final assault, the remaining ISA forces push through the last stand of the Helghast forces, desperate to protect their [[Autarch]] they fight fiercely, but are ultimately defeated.

Sev and Rico then make their way into the palace itself, being ordered to arrest Visari. On their way, they encounter Radec, causing a fight to break out between them and his remaining men. Radec's forces are ultimately defeated, and Radec, seeing his failure, kills himself. Sev and Rico then proceed to Visari's inner sanctum and finding Visari by himself. Just as Sev prepares to arrest Visari, who then speaks to the two in such a way that Rico cannot contain his anger, resulting in Rico murdering the Autarch much to Sev's horror. A dying Visari gives his last words: "The madness begins." Narville and Natko arrive on the scene too late as a tired and weary Sev walks pass them and ignoring Narville's questions. Sev walks outside, where he witness a large Helghast fleet belonging to the Helghan First Army begins its attack on what is left of the ISA invasion force.

Visari Palace is the tenth and final level of Killzone 2.
